Spincam
A compact, flexible camera designed for both screen-based and independent use.
Context
SpinCam is a compact and portable TV camera device which can connect to any visual display either mounted on top or in a stand alone mode. SpinCam's unique stand design doubles as a magnetic attachment as well as a base allowing it to be conveniently placed anywhere without the need of any accessory.
As our digital interactions have increased, Camera has become the center of all activities. SpinCam provides a flexible camera solution to support all indoor digital interactions and can also be used independently for home care (of pets, children, elderly, home security), content creation etc.

Need for a Flexible camera solution.
Post Pandemic the usage of TV and activities inside the home has increased along with the number of displays (TVs and Monitors).People wish to do more with their products, the need for a TV camera in house has gone beyond just static calling to one with movement around the house and one that can be easily connected to multiple devices.
People use the camera for workout postures, indoor monitoring, game streaming, online learning and sharing work or simply recording from a cozy corner in the room.
Prototype Development
Multiple prototypes were developed to test out proportions, interaction methods, compatibility with TVs and CMF of the object.
